The Nature Store will open this year April 6, 2019. Volunteer Training days will be March 23 and March 30. We need several new volunteers to help out with the Nature Store. The Nature Store is stocked with t-shirts, sweatshirts, caps, field guides, children's books, Audubon bird toys, other educational materials and art objects. The proceeds of the store benefit the Friends of Turnbull for their work to support the mission of the Refuge through education, research, and habitat restoration.

Store visitors can also get general information about the Refuge, check out the Kids Wildlife Viewing Backpacks for your visit to the Refuge, and get brochures and Refuge maps for your visit. You may want to make it your first stop inside the Refuge, watch for the sandwich board which says the "Store is Open".
